The device
- Does Zolu have a screen?
- No. Zolu is screen-free. It has an expressive LED-matrix face that animates to the audio, but nothing to watch or scroll.
- What's the difference between Zulu and Fubu?
- Zulu is the flagship player for ages 2–8 with a richer LED face. Fubu is a simpler, toddler-tough companion for ages 1–5. Both are screen-free and use the same content cards.
- How long does the battery last?
- Zolu plays for hours on a charge and recharges over USB-C.
Content & cards
- How do content cards work?
- Each physical card maps to a story, song or lesson. Your child taps the card on the device and it plays instantly, binding to the device automatically.
- Do cards work across devices?
- Yes — your content cards work on any Zolu device, so the library grows with your family.
- What is Progress+?
- Progress+ is an optional subscription library: new educator-curated stories, songs and lessons every month, matched to your child's stage. It's managed in the Zolu app.
Accounts & offline
- Do I need an account?
- No. You can buy and use Zolu without an account — cards bind to the device automatically. A free Zolu app account is optional and adds a digital copy of your library.
- Does it need Wi-Fi?
- No. Everything plays offline. Wi-Fi is only used occasionally to sync new content from the app.
- Are there ads?
- Never. Zolu has no ads and no autoplay — parents curate the library.

- How do I check out?
- Checkout is guest-first — no account required. Just add your email and shipping address. Pay by UPI, card or netbanking via Razorpay.
- Where do you ship?
- We ship across India, with free standard shipping.
- What's your return policy?
