How it works
Tap a card. Hear a story.
Zolu is designed so a two-year-old can use it alone — and a parent can trust every second of it. Here's the whole idea.

01
Choose your device
Start with Zulu or the toddler-friendly Fubu — a screen-free audio player your child controls themselves.
02
Add content cards
Pick physical story, song and lesson cards. They arrive at your door, ready to play.
03
Tap to play — it just binds
Place a card on the device and it plays instantly. The content binds to the device automatically — no screen, no login, no parent required.
04
Grow the library
Add Progress+ for fresh educator-curated content every month, matched to your child's stage.
Questions, answered.
- Do I need an account to use Zolu?
- No. You can buy and use Zolu without an account — content cards bind to the device automatically when tapped. A free Zolu account is optional, and only adds a digital copy of your library to the app.
- Does Zolu need the internet?
- No. Everything plays offline. The internet is only used occasionally to sync new content from the Zolu app.
- How do cards 'bind' to the device?
- Each physical card is mapped to a story, song or lesson. When your child taps the card on the device, the content is recognised and bound to that device automatically — instantly playable, forever.
- Is there any screen?
- No screen. Zolu has an expressive LED-matrix face that animates to the audio, but nothing to watch or scroll.
